Transiting through Paris – CDG?

Here we list all aspects of transiting through Paris-CDG. Please note this guide is applicable only if you are arriving and departing on an international (non-EU) connection through Air France or their Skyteam Partners including Delta. 

Terminals


There are three main terminals at Paris – CDG. Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3.

Unfortunately, if you are in international transit, you cannot travel between terminals at Paris – CDG.

Air France and their Skyteam partners, including Delta, use Terminal 2E, a concourse within Terminal 2, primarily for international flights departing France.

Lounges and Sleeping Areas

There are multiple lounges for international departures from Paris.

Business Class Customers on Air France and Skyteam Partners

Air France Business Class customers have access to three different lounges in Terminal 2E, one each in Concourse K, L & M. It is recommended you choose the lounge closest to your gate. No guests are permitted unless you also hold Skyteam Elite Plus status.

The Business Class Lounge is also accessible for Skyteam Elite Plus members traveling on an Economy Class flight and are permitted to bring an extra guest.

First Class Customers on Air France

Your personal agent will escort you to the Air France La Premiere Lounge.

Priority Pass Lounge

YotelAir Paris Charles de Gaulle is available in Terminal 2E. A 10 Euro credit will be issued for refreshments per person who is admitted to the lounge. 

Priority Boarding

Priority boarding is typically extended to the following passengers:

  • Business or First Class Customers
  • Frequent Flyers of the Airlines elite program
  • Passengers with children or those who require extra time to board the aircraft
  • Paid service on certain airlines
  • Premium Credit Card Holders when traveling on Air Canada
