$698 is too expensive – How We Help CUstomers fly From Canada to India for $0 in Business Class Round Trip

For many of us, $698 to fly Business Class to India round trip might be expensive. So, what if we could bring that cost down to just $0? That’s right, what if you could fly a combination of Air Canada, Etihad and Vistara Business class to go from any point in Canada to any point in India for $0 + taxes and fees?

Let’s approximate taxes to be about $100 per direction. So for $200, a round trip flight in Business Class? While your friends, colleagues, and frenemies are paying closer to $2,000 to $3,000 round trip, in Economy Class?

One day, I might even walk you through how to take that $200 you will pay for taxes and fees and make it $0. That is a true travel hacker.

Strategy

The approach to obtain this deal is to leverage Air Canada Aeroplan Points. Air Canada charges 90,000 Aeroplan Points each way to travel on a non-stop flight from Canada to India.

The question becomes, how can we quickly earn 180,000 Aeroplan Points? Read on as we walk you through a quick example.

By no means is this the only strategy, but this is a quick review of one of many strategies to approach this problem. We would argue, this is the mid-range strategy, a medium effort on spend and a medium effort on annual fees.
